Slabs perfect for any project

At Karl Taylor Wood we strive to utilize all that a tree has to offer. We aim to give trees another life whether that is in the form of a slabs for table tops, blanks for bowls and anything else that your mind can think of.

We not only mill our live edge slabs, but we also dry the slabs to 6-8%MC.

We cut our live edge slabs not for grade, but for character. Our goal is to give every tree a new life. Whether that is as a live edge table top or shelf.

We mill our slabs using both an Alaskan mill as well as a Bandsaw mill to maximize the amount of material we can salvage.

We seek out any tree that has been taken down, from Apple to Walnut.
